I love the pen. I love the shade of purple that this stick pen has. I purchased other purple pens only to be disappointed with other brands in that they are not smooth or in the paper mate line where the purple is not the same true purple as this line. The profile has a brighter purple that distorts the color to a more reddish tone. If you like the color that you see here on the package of the pen itself- that is the color/shade you are getting.
